Its Friday again and my boys are back in town. Tom and Erik took a quick trip to Ft. Meyers for some Red Sox action during Spring Break and spring training. They also toured the Edison/Ford Winter Estates and the Gulf Coast University Campus. While they were off gallivanting, I was able to get in some great knitting time and catch up on my Netflix offerings by watching the whole series “Neverwhere”.
My online reading group, Knit1ReadToo, has taken a fairly long hiatus and in the interest of not slipping into too much Harry Potter at this juncture, I have found “Knit the Classics” to keep me focused on other books that I should have read but didn’t. The title for April is Moll Flanders. I plan to get my copy at the library. The group seems to be well organized and stays OT with a few swaps and projects thrown in for fun.
I’ve found a site for hand dyed super wash merino sock yarn. The colors were so vibrant that I couldn’t resist buying a skein from Woolarina,
a really loud orange/yellow/fuchsia mix that is supposed to yield a pair of socks. Competiton for the pretty blue Lorna skeins. Maybe the postman will reward me with the package today! What will I choose for the April 6Sox?
