I spent time sorting out the tangled web of circular needles while watching "All the Presidents Men" last night. Dustin Hoffman has most of my attention. However, the job was completed in the time the movie played. I placed the different sizes into baggies and numbered them. I would prefer a Lantern Moon silk needle case but this will have to do for the time being. I was astounded by the duplicates in so many sizes, mostly size 8. Now at least I'll be prepared when the next pattern comes along.
The tangled mass of yarn on the floor is another story. Its going nowhere. I will pickup a ball every so often and try to untangle the snarl. I made a little progress winding up some Gedifra Rubino eyelash yarn, I keep trying to find a pattern for if to no avail. Some of the skeins are gold, some copper, not enough for much other than a scarf...maybe. I will keep winding, sooner or later the mess will be gone.
I have stumbled upon a new Internet yarn company, Simply Sock Yarn Company. They have a pretty good selection of yarns and needles for the sock knitter. I entered their Grand Opening contest. A complete set of DP bamboo needles. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I have crossed something off my list. I cast on the cuff at the bookstore. the Hurricane Knitters meet there every Wednesday. I added number 8.
